“Ossa di
morto” (dead person's bones) or Piricchittos
are round open or comma shaped cakes irregularly
covered in icing. They were traditionally produced
for Easter and All Saint's Day but can now be found
all year round. They are made in particular in the
Logudoro area, especially in Ittiri and in some
villages in Goceano.
The
ingredients used to make them are: eggs, flour, oil
and sugar. |
