The
Aranzada is a sweet made from candied orange
peel in honey and almonds. It has the colour and
taste of sweet citrus fruit while its consistency
and compactness can vary. As for most traditional
Sardinian sweetmeats, its production is linked to
festivals and special occasions such as weddings.
The
Aranzada is found in the Goceano area. The
ingredients used to make Aranzadas are:
orange peel, tasted sweet almonds, honey and sugar. |
