Bred in a completely natural environment, mostly on
open pasture, lambs are fed on their mother's milk
with the spontaneous addition of natural foods from
pasture and curious essences from the characteristic
island environment.
Sardinian lamb is a geographically protected
product IGP (under regulation EEC n. 138/01) which
is sold in three distinct sizes: un-weaned up to 7
kg in weight, light from 7 to 10 kg and for cuts
from 10 to 13 kg. |
