Acciuleddhi, Mendegadas, Trizzas
or Origliette are typical cakes from the carnival
period in Gallura as well as Frisjoli longhi
(long doughnuts).
They are
pleats of non leavened pastry which are fried and
covered with warm honey. They are produced all over
Gallura and its neighbouring areas The ingredients
used to make Acciuleddhi are: durum wheat
flour, lard, eggs, sugar or honey. |
