Seadas or
“Sebadas” are a traditional Sardinian dessert
made of round flat pastry discs filled with fresh
pecorino cheese. These are then fried and served
with honey or sugar.
The
ingredients used to make Seadas are: durum wheat
flour, eggs, water, salt and lard for the pastry;
fresh acidified pecorino cheese and lemon peel for
the filling. This dish is usually served as a
dessert at the end of a meal. |
