Mullet
Another
fresh water lagoon fish is the mullet,
 which
also characterises local festivals in its grilled
version.
This
fish became more widespread in the past maybe due to
the trading of food products between coastal and
inland towns.
Due to
the simplicity of its preparation on the barbecue
(whole, without scaling), it has become one of the
most popular seafoods inland.
