What is 'La Strada del Gusto'?

La Strada del Gusto (The road to flavour)is an initiative of the Province of Sassari, the Board of Tourism and Production, in collaboration with a temporary business association between the University of Sassari Department of Environmental Agricultural Science and Biotechnology, I.T.E.M S.r.l. and Albatros & Associates. It is made to measure to allow travellers/tourists to spend a pleasant holiday in an area which is rich in history and culture, discovering rare and precious foods and wines.

In order to provide the customer with a total guarantee, the 'Club del Prodotto' (product club) was founded. This is able to ensure high quality services to people from the rest of Italy and abroad, who choose to come here for their holidays. The businesses who take part can be recognised by the symbol “La Strada del Gusto del Nord Sardegna” (North Sardinian road to flavour) which certifies that typical and genuine products are offered.

What is "The Product Club"?

The Product Club is an organisation which aims at ensuring the highest quality welcome to those who choose North Sardinia for their holidays.

With the participating businesses of the “Product Club” you can stay overnight, taste the best local dishes, visit the places where they are produced and buy their excellent products.

On the map of the territory, the provinces of Sassari and Olbia/Tempio have been divided into five distinct geographical areas which have been identified since ancient times: Sassarese-Nurra, Romangia-Anglona, Mejlogu-Goceano, Logudoro Monte Acuto, Gallura.
